The Art of Living is designed to empower adults with special needs to achieve their best potential.
The Art of Living is designed to empower adults with special needs to achieve their best potential through person-centered services, support to families, advocacy, and leadership enrichment.
The Art of Living offers services for individuals with special needs and their families within the metro area. Services are authorized through the regional board and are based on the service descriptions identified through the NOW and COMP waivers. Individualized budgets and service plans are developed with the service coordinator, the individual, and family and may include an array of services.
Services provided through The Art of Living include:
COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL ALTERNATIVE (CRA)
CRA is targeted for individuals whom require intense levels of residential support in small group settings of four or less. These residential settings are Community Living Arrangements (CLA) and host home/life sharing arrangements.
COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORT (CLS)
CLS are individually tailored support services that assists with the acquisition, retention, and/or improvement in skills related to a participant's continued residence in his or her family home.
COMMUNITY ACCESS GROUP (CAG)
Community Access is designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining or improving self-help, socialization and adaptive skills required for active participation and independent functioning outside of the home setting.
